Foster, Grandpa and Hoban took a boat to Cowes and rode to Wonthaggi.
Various others joined at Wonthaggi on Friday night and Saturday morning
for a ride along the coast via Cape Patterson and Inverloch to Leongatha.
Big night at the Leongatha RSL was followed by a longish climb to Boolarra
for a famous lunch at the Old Pub.

Whilst the group presented Wokka with
his new helmet, Foster let go of the pole to applaud ... and fell
over |
 |
Nothing but the best for lunch - that's
not just any old cat food sandwich, its made with Dine |
 |
The great leader was disappointed with
the behaviour of the team - but impressed with their carrying capacity |
 |
The team travelled on this road for hours
before they realised it was a cycling track |
 |
... but luckily there were some locals
handy to not only cheer for a stunning Grandpa victory, but to also
point out the exit. |
 |
The "how to milk a cow" demonstration
was really appreciated by this English backpacker that Grandpa picked
up. |
 |
Lunch at the Old Pub in Boolarra ...
which was much older by the time we finished. |
 |
... complete with "a little rugby
ditty" sung with a passion rarely seen |
