Eildon - May '03

Gordon, Kilborn & Foster had an early bash through the scrub on the mountain bikes, and were later joined by the rest of the mob. A big dinner on the Saturday night was regaled with a fascinating insight into the Fosters' Business Class trip to Canada (no good going into details now - you had to be there). A pleasant ride to Thornton on the Sunday morning was followed by a sumptuous BBQ lunch drifting around Lake Eildon on Gordon's luxury houseboat.

Gorilla in the mist

The site of Buzz's heart attack two years ago - let's say a little prayer .... nah, feck him

Buzz was very pleased with himself until Wendy whispered to him that his hand was actually on her shoulder
The crew were finally tiring of Mike's public reading of his latest book "My Life as a Coffee Snob", so Foster thought he'd try some of his famous wall shadow puppets to lift the entertainment
Ross Kilborn's live demonstration of the Domino Principal really floored everyone!
Judy Lawrence's inaugural bike ride gave her and Gordon a chance to show the group what remains of the Eildon Weir, but no-one could keep up with them

The lunch time matinee was a highlight - Mike enthralled everyone
with his "Levitating plate of sausages" trick while Mike and Wokka
re-enacted their favourite scene from the VB commercial. Laugh? We almost did.

Aw geez Di - this houseboat is nothing. You should come up to Hamilton Island and spend a week on my floating palace - the SS Love Boat
As Wendy thought she'd test drive a large economy model with hair, Mike got so excited he broke three of her ribs
Ross could have watched Carolyn do dishes for hours, her rinse cycle was truly a thing of beauty
It was a breathtaking moment as Judy screamed "Don't touch what you can't afford Lawrence" and put the mandatory jam pie into Gordon's face
